About The Sound Book

The Sound Book is based on the idea that sound can be used in the language classroom as a stimulus for creative and engaging activities and lessons. Short sound effects, often of no more than a minute’s length, are minimal resources that can be used for a variety of purposes. From warmers and ice breakers, through to accompanying reading, writing and speaking activities, adding an element of sound to the language classroom can yield some interesting results.
